The Advantage Travel Partnership & The Bta Announce Speaker Line-Up For Upcoming Corporate Travel Summit

The Business Travel Association (BTA)  and the Advantage Travel Partnership have unveiled the first wave of speakers for their first-ever Corporate Travel Summit: NEXUS - Power of Partnerships.

The one-day event is designed to create a comprehensive platform for business travel professionals, offering a unique opportunity for Travel Management Companies, buyers, and suppliers to come together for networking, knowledge sharing, and explore innovative solutions within the industry.

The event will feature keynote presentations from Paralympic champion-turned-parliamentarian Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson DBE DL and renowned economist Liam Halligan, with acclaimed writer, producer and entertainer Nigel Mead serving as moderator.

Baroness Grey-Thompson, in her recent appointment as chair of the Department for Transport’s Aviation Accessibility Task, will address how she is leading efforts to enhance air travel for disabled passengers, aiming to eliminate barriers and ensure dignified journeys for all. Highlighting her own personal experiences, she’ll underscore the critical need for improved accessibility across all transport modes and inspire meaningful discussions on creating an inclusive transport environment.

Liam Halligan, whose weekly Economics Agenda column in The Sunday Telegraph is considered essential reading, will bring his unique ability to make complex economic concepts accessible and shed light on business travel’s role in driving the UK’s economic growth.

Andrea Caulfield-Smith, Managing Director of Global Business Travel at The Advantage Travel Partnership, commented: "We are delighted to have assembled a fantastic line-up of speakers for this summit who not only reflect the significance of this event, but bring unparalleled expertise and insight. Each speaker will bring their own unique perspective that will undoubtedly inspire fresh and visionary thinking and deliver tremendous value to delegates."

Andrew Clarke, Commercial Director of the BTA emphasises the summit's timeliness: "The business travel industry is entering a new era against a backdrop of ongoing geo-political instability and economic uncertainty, this Summit is an opportunity to reimagine how we protect managed travel's integrity while creating enhanced value for customers and partners."
