The Advantage Travel Partnership Launch Biggest Ever Marketing Campaign To Support Members During Cruise Month
04 Sep 2024
Cruise Month is back and The Advantage Travel Partnership has launched its biggest-ever marketing campaign – Navigate New Horizons - to support members wanting to maximise cruise sales.
This year, The Advantage Travel Partnership has launched the biggest marketing campaign ever implemented for Cruise Month, with the ambition of taking Cruise Month to new heights. Members will benefit from tools, support and additional benefits including the latest edition of Navigate Magazine which will be available both online and in print. 2,000 printed copies will be landing with members' customers next week and almost 50,000 customers will receive the digital version. An intranet hub on the Advantage members hub will have content available for members including digital assets, banners and cruise video content to help support their own online activity.
To further enhance the support for members, Advantage is launching a consumer prize draw where members’ customers can win a five or seven-night European fly-cruise with AmaWaterways. The prize draw is being launched to help members build prospects and acquire new customers.
Jonny Peat, Senior Commercial Manager for Cruise, The Advantage Travel Partnership said: “Cruise continues to play a massive role in our commercial strategy and across our business, generating over £0.65bn of revenue annually and growing. Our members see cruise as a key area of growth for their own businesses and we are continually looking at ways we can best support them.
“Cruise Month is a great opportunity to secure new bookings as well as convert those who are ‘Yet to Cruise’. Our Navigate New Horizons campaign is our biggest marketing campaign ever, and with the inclusion of our first-ever consumer prize draw, it’s sure to help drive customer acquisition.”
Peat added that at a recent webinar to launch this latest campaign, over 100 members joined the call, which underpins the high level of engagement that members have for the sector.
A recent member survey conducted by Advantage recently indicated that the cruise sector continues to surge in popularity. Advantage continues to invest heavily in the sector with a particular emphasis on the ‘Yet to Cruise’ market which is an excellent opportunity to further grow both bookings and income. CLIA stats show that 71% of the ‘yet to cruise’ market is ready to make bookings and give the sector a try.
A new issue of Journeys, Advantage’s hero customer-facing magazine, is also due to be published mid-September with 15,000 printed copies sent to members’ customers, giving them a further opportunity to showcase cruise holidays. Its annual Cruise Collection directory, a key selling tool for agents to use to inspire people to book their next cruise holiday, will follow soon after.
Peat concluded: “This campaign is all-encompassing and really demonstrates that at Advantage we offer the best partnership for those looking to excel in cruise.”
