Advantage Financial Services Limited (AFS), a longstanding bond and insurance broker specialising in the travel sector and a wholly owned subsidiary of The Advantage Travel Partnership, has announced the purchase of long-standing and well-respected insurance broker Cork, Bays & Fisher from Kingfisher Insurance Services Limited.

The purchase includes the brand, the book of business and the majority of the Cork, Bays & Fisher team moving with the business to Advantage Financial Services Limited.

Paul Nunn, Chief Operating Officer of the Advantage Travel Partnership and Director of Advantage Financial Services commented: “We were delighted when Kingfisher approached us about acquiring the business. “Under Advantage Financial Services, the business will be managed by Head of Advantage Financial Services, Heather Haggis, and Cork, Bays & Fisher will continue its operations as a standalone entity with the team fully supported by the extensive resources of the wider group. We envisage a very smooth transition of ownership for all parties and stakeholders and remain confident there will be no impact on the level of service currently provided.”
