The Advantage Travel Partnership Partners with Vibe to Bring Cutting-Edge Booking Technology to TMCs

The Advantage Travel Partnership has announced a new partnership with travel technology specialist Vibe to bring its best-in-class technology as their new online booking tool platform for TMCs operating under the Advantage Managed Services (AMS) model.

This collaboration will allow members access to Vibe's groundbreaking, custom-built booking platform, designed specifically to empower agents with tools usually accessible only to the largest organisations.

By leveraging the group buying power that membership of The Advantage Travel Partnership provides, TMCs, who may not have the resources to implement a system of this scale alone, will now be able to offer their customers the world-class OBT service that Vibe enables. Vibe's technology meets the highest industry standards bringing the level of sophistication and flexibility that agents need to remain competitive in an increasingly online TMC environment.

Stephen Baxendale, Advantage’s Technology Partnerships Manager said: “This partnership with Vibe means offering a technology proposition that stands out in a highly competitive space and further demonstrates our commitment to providing our members with leading technology solutions which allow them to compete. This is a further step in our quest to continue expanding our One-Stop Business Hub capabilities for our members helping them to respond to the growing market needs. This not only enhances the value proposition for TMCs but also amplifies our reputation as a leader in the travel management industry. This is just the start of our journey with Vibe, and we look forward to working with them closely in the future.”

Danny Girling, Vibe's Business Development & Head of Partnerships said: "Members servicing business travel accounts, who operate under The Advantage Travel Partnership’s managed services model, can now tap into our world-class platform. By leveraging their collective strength, Advantage is offering their members access to the same world-class tools and services as the biggest players in the industry. It's all about levelling the playing field and empowering these TMCs to compete on equal terms with the best tech!"

Advantage’s managed service model, which celebrated its 15-year anniversary this year, is a plug and play model originally set up to alleviate the time and resources needed to run the operational side of a travel business, allowing more time for its users to focus on sales, customer service and on building profitability through using the best travel-tech available.

Users of the AMS model have grown significantly since 2009 and today encompasses 87 branches, that collectively generate an annual turnover in excess of £160m. The model has become an indispensable offering for many Advantage members, from start-ups to established businesses looking to streamline operations.

Danny added: “Vibe is excited to be at the heart of this transformation, providing a solution that enhances the ability of travel agents to serve their clients in innovative, efficient, and profitable ways. Together, Advantage and Vibe are setting new benchmarks for what travel management technology can offer—making sure that TMCs have the right tools to navigate the complexities of today’s industry, with confidence and ease.”
