Advantage Announces New Head of Supplier Partnerships - Air, Ground & Technology

The Advantage Travel Partnership has today announced the appointment of Nick Wickers to the role of Head of Supplier Partnerships – Air, Ground & Technology, with immediate effect.

Wickers will operate within the consortia’s Global Business Travel team, and report to Andrea Caulfield-Smith, Managing Director Global Business Travel at The Advantage Travel Partnership.

He will also work closely with Advantage’s John Sullivan, Commercial Director and Kelly Cookes, Chief Commercial Officer to ensure that the Group remains laser focused on leveraging its significant global size and scale, delivering enhanced commercial benefits to all its members.

Wickers will curate a defined strategy to build and maintain strong trusted partnerships with key suppliers to negotiate the best commercial opportunities, building on the Advantage Air Programme and other products for its members, adapting to the ever-changing landscape of the travel industry and working with Advantage’s supplier partners as their commercial models evolve.

He brings a wealth of experience to the position having previously held roles including Head of Air at Saga Travel Group and Head of Supplier Relations at Diversity Travel as well as roles at ebookers, Travel2 and Travelport.
