Who you’d be working with…

The Advantage Travel Partnership is the UK’s pre-eminent business network representing travel agents and travel management companies.

Its members are all independently owned travel businesses who operate across 750 locations throughout the UK, representing a large proportion of the UK’s travel agency landscape. In addition, Advantage’s global network footprint continues to expand with representation in 83 countries across 96 network partners who work together in servicing corporate accounts.

Collectively, as a global network our members generate over £15.6 billion in global sales annually - with £7.6 billion from travel sales from its UK membership - and cater for many millions of holidaymakers and business travellers by assisting them with their travel arrangements. 

What you would be doing…

This is an amazing opportunity to join a fantastic company at a very exciting time.  You, as Commercial Partnerships Assistant, would report to our highly skilled Partnerships Manager & Head of Advantage Global Network and work alongside several Business Travel professionals.  The whole team works really closely together and is tightly connected with the wider business, our member partners and business partners.  This will give you the great opportunity to both bounce ideas off and learn from each other.

The overall purpose of your job is to take ownership, bring fresh ideas, and make a real impact. With a wide-ranging brief, no two days will be the same!

As a Commercial Partnerships Assistant, you will be at the heart of our partnerships team, working closely with our Partnerships Manager & Head of Advantage Global Network and a dynamic, supportive group of professionals. You’ll also collaborate with our Marketing Team, ensuring our partnerships reach their full potential. 

 

To do this, you would…

  • Be a Deal Maker: Assist in the production, renewal, and amendment of commercial agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Tech-Savvy Organizer: Keep our CRM system updated with key commercial contracts.
  • Data Wizard: Collect, analyse, and reconcile partner data for high-impact financial reporting and support invoicing alongside our finance team.
  • Market Trend Spotter: Keep an eye on the latest industry trends and provide valuable insights to the team.
  • Creative Campaign Lead: Help craft and execute innovative promotional and incentive campaigns that drive results.
  • Engagement Guru: Manage the member intranet, ensuring content is compelling, engaging, and aligned with key campaigns and objectives.
  • Storyteller & Communicator: Gather and curate content for internal communications and training platforms.
  • Event & Experience Coordinator: Play a key role in organising exciting member events, webinars, and industry trips alongside our Events Team.
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent Advantage at key UK industry events and exhibitions, networking with top professionals.
  • Global Visionary: Ensure supplier messaging is clear, engaging, and suitable for our international members.
  • Social Media Star: Monitor and engage with relevant social media channels, championing Advantage Travel Partnership and fostering industry conversations.
  • Problem Solver: Respond to inquiries from members, partners, and prospects, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions.
  • Trusted Relationship Builder: Manage a small portfolio of accounts, developing strong connections with key partners.
  • Cross-Team Collaborator: Work seamlessly across departments to deliver exceptional results.
