Our expansion into commercial insurance

Today, Advantage services a varied range of member business styles: new start-ups, long-established businesses, homeworkers, shop owners, office-based agents, ATOL holders, as well as multi-branch agencies. We recognise one insurance product and supplier doesn’t fit all, so we assess our supplier panels and product suitability regularly. Many Advantage members have been purchasing their ABTA, ATOL, airline and coach bonds from our travel bonding team for many years. However, did you know that in 2022 our team evolved into a commercial insurance travel brokerage, with the mission to provide advice on purchasing commercial insurance and financial protection products?
I want to acknowledge the terrifically supportive Advantage members who invested in our expansion into commercial insurance. Because of them, all Advantage members can now access the membership insurance policies from leading commercial insurance suppliers, a wide breadth of insurance products for members businesses, as well as access advice through our experienced and knowledgeable insurance team.

We recognise that our membership is made up of a diverse range of business styles, so our team have researched the insurance market to cleverly match the business to the products available. When it comes to servicing our members, we look to break down the jargon and speak to you clearly. Financial decision-makers have enough going on without having to unpick complex language from the insurance industry. When speaking to Advantage members, we’ve heard that many of you are not seeing the level of empathy and understanding you would expect from your broker. Are you aware that it costs you nothing to appoint our broker team mid-way through your policy? When we’re appointed mid-term, we review your current policy against your business requirements. This can lead us to scope out other products and insurers ahead of your renewal to negotiate price reductions and/or cover enhancements.
We acknowledge that insurance is a necessary and a reluctant spend for most businesses. Sadly, due to economic factors, we are expecting to see price increases in 2024. If you’re worried about price increases or cover changes, speak to us at any time, irrespective of your renewal date, and we’ll investigate opportunities and deals on your behalf at no cost to you.
